Upgrading WebDoubler |

Your purchase of WebDoubler includes at least one year of free software upgrades. You may upgrade to the latest version of WebDoubler any time you wish, simply by going to the Maxum Web site and downloading a current demonstration version. To access the downloads, click "Download" on the WebDoubler Home Page at:
The demonstration version will include the full WebDoubler application, updated User's Guide, and new support files.
To validate the demonstration version so that it will run without limits or an expiration date, launch the demo application and choose "Validation..." from the "File" menu. Enter the serial number and validation code from the "Keep This Card!" registration card in your original package, or from the e-mail you were sent if you received WebDoubler electronically.
It is very important that you keep your serial number and validation code, as they will be needed for all future updates you qualify for. Maxum cannot be responsible for lost validation codes.
If you purchased WebDoubler before October 1, 1999, then you received a "key file" instead of a validation code. Your program disk includes a special key file, named with your WebDoubler serial number, which can be used instead of a validation code. To validate a copy of WebDoubler, simply drag and drop your key file onto the WebDoubler application. WebDoubler will launch and display the message "Thank You. This copy of WebDoubler has been validated."
Please save your original WebDoubler disk that includes your key file in a safe place. In the future, when you download new versions of WebDoubler, you can then simply insert your floppy and drag the original key onto the new version of WebDoubler. If you received WebDoubler electronically, save your key on a floppy disk or in some other safe location.
After one year, your key may no longer work with new versions of WebDoubler. Contact Maxum Development for information on upgrading to a new version at that time. Of course, any existing validated copies you own will continue to function normally for an indefinite period of time.
